I'm a CFP® who couldn't manage my own money. A drained custodial account, credit card debt, and the specific shame of being a financial professional who was bad with money in private. The turning point was realizing I had ADHD, and that most of what I'd been trained to teach was built for a different kind of brain. I built the Unbudget, the implementation framework, out of that moment. The Shameless Money framework (Money Story *·* ADHD.MoneyMap *·* Money Roadmap) came from running that system on myself and refining it across hundreds of ADHD clients. **That tension isn't something I hide. It's the whole point.** The system had to be built by someone who needed it, for people who need it. Otherwise it would have been the same thing as every other budget that doesn't stick.
