  • Coaching session notes, consultation details, assessments, and forms

2. Information from linked financial accounts
When you choose to connect your bank, credit card, loan, or investment accounts, the connection is handled through secure third-party providers using bank-level encryption.

  • We never see or store your login credentials.

  • We only access account balances, transactions, and related financial data necessary to provide budgeting, debt management, and financial planning support.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide personalized financial coaching and planning

  • Build your customized financial roadmap

  • Help you budget, track spending, and manage debt

  • Send relevant resources and updates

  • Schedule and manage appointments

  • Improve our services

  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We will never use your information for advertising, profiling, or resale.

How We Protect Your Information

Your security is non-negotiable. We use:

  • Strict limits on who can access personal information

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your personal and financial data only as long as necessary to provide our services. If you disconnect a financial account or close your Shameless Money account, associated data is deleted from our systems within 30 days (unless required by law to retain it longer).

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We only share data:

  • With your explicit consent

  • With service providers (such as account-linking and payment processors) who are contractually bound to confidentiality and security

  • When legally required

  • With InFocus Wealth Strategies (our sister company) if you choose to engage their services

Authorized Assistants & Contractors
From time to time, Shameless Money may engage trusted virtual assistants or contractors to help with administrative tasks (for example, scheduling or client communications). These individuals may be provided with limited access to our systems (such as a Shameless Money email account) strictly for the purpose of carrying out their assigned work.

All assistants and contractors are bound by confidentiality agreements and required to follow the same privacy and security standards we uphold. They do not have access to financial account data or sensitive client records unless explicitly required, and all access is monitored and revoked immediately when their engagement ends.


Security Incidents

If we ever experience a data breach or unauthorized access that affects your information, we will notify you promptly with details on what happened and what steps we are taking.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal information

  • Request corrections to inaccurate data

  • Ask us to delete your information

  • Opt out of marketing communications

  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
